Altraday Capsule SR Interactions with Other Drugs:

How does Altraday Capsule work?

Aceclofenac one of the active ingredients of Altraday Capsule is a preferential COX- 2 inhibitors. It inhibits Prostaglandin synthesis and hence relieves pain. Prostaglandins are released at the site of tissue injury in the body as an immune response. It is well absorbed when taken orally. Aceclofenac is also an Anti- Pyretic drug that is it reduces inflammation.

Rabeprazole the second active ingredient of Altraday Capsule is a Proton pump inhibitor. Hence, it reduces gastric acid secretion. It is known to cause fastest acid suppression. By this action, Rabeprazole relieves pain associated with ulcers and causes healing of ulcers in the stomach and intestines. Rabeprazole also cures acidity by reducing acid secretion. Since Altraday Capsule is a sustained release dosage form its effects remain for a longer period of time.
