Travelled to the UK in 2003 to pursue training in psychiatry after graduating from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in 2001. Finished psychiatric training from the prestigious West London Psychiaric Training Scheme in 2008. Obtained Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2013 after gaining extensive clinical experience for nearly 5 years in various prestigious hospitals with variety of patient populations in variety of settings working as Specialist Psychiatrist.
In 2014 started a Social Enterprise (Chiguru Foundation) in the hometown with the goal of providing accessible and affordable mental health care both to the rural and urban population. Providing tele-consultations at no cost to the under privileged and needy patients was undertaken on a frequent basis.
In 2018 relocated complete to India with the passion to increase mental health awareness and continue providing affordable and accessible mental health care and treatment as part of Namma Clinics.
