Preparations before the Test

This test requires a mandatory 10-12 hour fasting before the test. No special preparations are required to be taken before the test. If any case specific preparations are needed, the lab technician or the doctor will inform about the same before the individual undergoes the test.


Sample Type for the Test

The test requires a blood sample to be drawn from the body of the individual. A blood sample is drawn from the veins present inside of the arm or back of the elbow of the individual which is then sent to the labs for testing.



The test requires no precaution to be taken before the test. If any precautions are to be taken, the lab technician or the doctor would communicate the same to the individuals going for the test.
