· There are no specific preparations to be done in case of Urine Culture.
· However, it is advised to inform the doctor about the ongoing medicine and health supplements prior to taking the test. This is because intake of a few medicines may interfere with the test results.
· It is advisable to wash your hands and genitals before collecting the urine sample.
· The patient must refrain from urinating, in case the test requires a concentrated urine sample.
